Product and Sourcing Officer

Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum

Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire

If you are good at overseeing projects and have strong admin skills you could improve the lives of young people through the power of sport as part of the Youth Sport Trust. We create, develop and deliver programmes and initiatives that improve health, attendance, academic achievement and raise whole-school standards, equipping all young people with skills for life. We are now recruiting a Product & Sourcing Officer to support teams across the organisation with their sourcing and procurement needs.

In this role, you will build strong working relationships with colleagues, external clients and suppliers. You will work to understand requirements, develop solutions as well as ensure project delivery and value for money. This will involve managing project and production processes, producing clear delivery plans and controlling budgets. You will make sure work is of high quality and reflective of our brand. You will find yourself working with equipment providers, designers, printers and illustrators on a range of projects. We will look to you to ensure best value and efficiencies of scale, quality control and ethical product sourcing. Important too, will be the ability to identify additional business opportunities to work with clients.

You must have good project delivery skills and experience of managing processes within a busy office environment. A background in product buying/sourcing would be an advantage. You will be an excellent communicator and able to influence a range of audiences and stakeholders. You will be good at coordinating work and managing projects with external partners too. Highly organised, you will also have an eye for detail and are comfortable prioritising your workload.

Experience of using graphic design tools, particularly the Adobe suite, and applying house style and corporate identity would be valuable in this role.

If you have the skills to support our work and share our passionate belief in the benefits of sport for young people we would like to hear from you.
