Community Tennis Manager
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 dependant on experience
Location: National Tennis Centre, Roehampton
Job Summary
The LTA is the National Governing Body for tennis in Great Britain, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, and is responsible for developing and promoting the sport while safeguarding the integrity of tennis. The vision for the LTA is “tennis opened up”; and the mission for all those involved in delivering this vision to grow tennis by making it relevant, accessible, welcoming and enjoyable.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Tennis Manager who will be joining our team based at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton, London.
This role will support the Head of Parks and Community Tennis to deliver transformational programmes and support to under-served communities, so that tennis can become a genuine and accessible option within local, hard-to-reach communities.
You will manage relationships with national partners, work closely with the regional Participation delivery teams to drive participation within hard to reach communities, and will manage all aspects of the SERVES Programme and budget.
The right candidate will have knowledge of Sport for Development Sector and of implementing and measuring social impact in sport; will have experience of managing a regional/ national scale programme and multiple relationships; will be an excellent communicator and able to liaise with key stakeholders, local authorities, members of management, etc.
We are looking for an individual to challenge the norm and drive forward our community programmes with fresh thinking and an innovative approach.
