Business Services Manager

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

Location: Central London

British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) is the national governing body for HE sport in the UK. Representing over 170 HE institutions, BUCS delivers activity in 50 sport and physical activity programmes to a student population of 100,000 annually.

BUCS is celebrating its Centenary in 2019 and is in the process of modernising its processes and systems to take it forward into the next decade, as well as carrying out a thorough review of all its sporting competitions, to ensure best value for students and institutions.

Competition Management Platform is being piloted and will be rolled out across the organisation in September 2019. Modern financial systems with cloud-based workflow have been introduced recently. The next stage of the evolution is to implement a CRM and completely new CMS platforms.

This role will be a key part of this evolution, focusing on increasing the effectiveness of the financial and IT services and information management, as well as business operations in general. The successful candidate will manage key functions, using innovation to enhance the customer experience and bring efficiency and cost-savings to internal operations.

Working across the whole organisation, this is a fantastic opportunity to shape and influence the efficiency of a national sporting organisation.
