PR and Communications Officer
Salary: £25,275 – £28,446,
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term contract until 31 March 2018 (possible extension to 31 March 2021 subject to external funding)
Can you communicate an idea succinctly and persuasively? Do you enjoy writing for the web, creating content for social networking sites and designing reports and other corporate artwork? Are you looking for a communications job at the heart of the sports and active community and within a progressive organisation? If so, Active Sussex’s PR and Communications Officer role could be for you.
For this full-time role, you’ll be responsible for the day–to-day management of Active Sussex’s digital and print communications. You’ll take charge of an expanding communications portfolio that includes the Active Sussex website and social networking community – including its corporate Twitter & Facebook accounts.
You will ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels, helping Active Sussex to get more people more active, more often. You will also play a pivotal role in business development including corporate fundraising.
The successful candidate will be a real team player whose can-do attitude inspires and motivates others. Of graduate calibre or equivalent, you will have strong communications, marketing and press experience.
