Club Rowing Coach
Hours: 10 hours in evenings and weekends from October to July 2017
Salary: up to £6,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
Llandaff Rowing Club in Cardiff, the largest in Wales, is seeking to appoint a part time Rowing Coach to commence employment from October 2017.
The appointee will assist in designing and delivering training programmes for seniors, from novice upwards. The coach must be able to work as part of a team.
Sessions will be at weekends, evenings and some early mornings. The club operates out of two River Taff sites at Llandaff and at Cardiff Bay.
Applicants will need:
- A good understanding of the principles of coaching science and a sound technical understanding of the practice of rowing
- A completed UKCC Level 2 certificate in rowing
- A valid driving licence
- Ideally a RYA 2 launch driving certificate, but not essential
