Communicating LGBT+ Inclusion – Jon Holmes, Sports Media LGBT+

How do we talk about our LGBT+ inclusion work to our members, our fans and the wider community? Sometimes it’s tricky to communicate initiatives which are designed to welcome everyone in – maybe the language and the terminology used appears too complex or the action taken seen as too niche to warrant coverage on social media and other channels. However, it is important to talk about inclusion. Getting the messaging right helps to inform and educate those already connected to the organisation or club, and sharing a story more widely provides an opportunity to reach out to new audiences.

Tuesday 16 June 11am - 12pm
