The Community Sport and Recreation Awards will take place at Edgbaston Stadium on 15 March.

For over twenty years, the Community Sport and Recreation Awards have been showcasing the positive impact of grassroots sport in local communities up and down the country.

The fifteen shortlisted entries were announced in January, and five lucky winners will be announced and presented with their award by our President HRH The Earl of Wessex. You can find out who made the shortlist here

The day will be a real celebration of grassroots sport and recreation and an opportunity for you to learn and share with clubs across England, how to keep changing lives and improving communities through sport and recreation. Our guest speaker is Ian Reid the recently appointed CEO of the Birmingham 2022 Organising Committee. Ian will talk about the 2022 Commonwealth Games, the legacy of the games and how they hope it will inspire not just Birmingham but the rest of the country to get active.

We also have Emily Campbell, weightlifting bronze medallist from the Gold Coast 2018 and British record holder for the 90kg+ class to talk about her Team England experiences.

Now is the chance to book your place amongst the very best grassroots organisations in the UK.
