Equality, Inclusion and Governance Manager

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to join our friendly team.

This exciting new role will involve work across the organisation to play a major part in our ambitions to tackle inequalities in group exercise. The Equality, Inclusion & Governance Manager will lead, and play an active role in, the creation, activation, and management of a range of insight-led projects, programmes and policies designed to help more people from underrepresented groups in England to become group exercise instructors as well as understand the barriers to participation some communities face in accessing group exercise.

This role will also support the Head of Operations and Projects and others in the writing and implementation of key governance requirements of developmental plans, practices, and programmes in areas such as safeguarding, governance, instructor regulation and policy development.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, professional and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Knowledge of the fitness or sports sector will be an advantage as will an understanding of the barriers facing individuals getting active in society today.
