Sport Services Manager

Hours of Work: such hours as necessary to carry out your duties. This will involve a minimum of 22.5 hours per week and may include working outside normal office hours at evenings and weekends and on Public Holidays.

Location: the normal place of work is Bisham however the EIS will, from time to time, require you to travel to and work at other locations across the UK.

Main Tasks and Activities

  • Support the implementation and coordination of support for NGBs as part of their agreed performance plan across all key sites to sports which may include but are not limited to England Hockey, Olympic & Paralympic Rowing, Olympic & Paralympic Shooting, Wheelchair Tennis, the Royal Ballet, the Army and professional sport.
  • As part of the National Operations Team, provide excellent systems and processes which enable NGB support packages and networks services to be accessed and managed effectively across all sites and that day-to-day relationships with NGBs are positive. 
  • Work with the Business Operations Manager to provide accurate and up to date costings and usage data in relation to designated sports for the Performance Solutions team.
  • As advised by the Performance Support team, follow up with NGB’s on changes to service agreements.
  • Analyse data from the EIS data management system (PDMS) and provide reports to the Performance Support team/NGB with suggestions of improvements to service coordination. 
  • Where appropriate work on national projects identified by the Senior Leadership team. 
  • Build relationships with key points of contact within NGBs. 
  • Proactively create and implement best practice solutions for service coordination. 
  • Provide support to the Operations team at each site as and when required.
  • Any ad-hoc duties as requested by management.
