About the Role
We are seeking a Para-Swimming Talent Coach to join our team on a fixed term contract for 10-12 months.
This is an exciting opportunity working within the Sports Development Directorate as part of a busy Swimming & Para-Swimming talent team responsible for delivering the Para-Swimming talent programme and developing the para-swimming coach workforce.
Reporting to the Para-Swimming Development Manager, you will be responsible for working with athletes, parents and their home programme coaches, developing the para-swimming workforce to enhance the athlete journey and work with Swim England regional partners to develop the para-swimming pathway. About You
The successful candidate must:
- Have previous experience of mentoring and developing coaches;
- Have strong coaching abilities and ability to self start;
- Have knowledge of Para-Swimming;
- Have knowledge of athlete development frameworks;
- Be willing to undertake a DBS check.
Previous experience / knowledge of the Para-Swimming pathway would also be advantageous.
