Data and Insight Analyst

British Rowing is looking for a Data and Insight Analyst to join their Insight and Strategy Team. The post holder will provide data analytics and insight capability across the organisation with a particular focus on membership analysis and insight capabilities aligned to our organisational strategy and KPI’s.

A bit about you

You’ll have proven experience in a data/insight role with expertise in analysing datasets and using visualisation suites (using programmes such as SAS, Power BI, Excel, SQL).

You’ll be qualified to degree level and have excellent communication skills, with experience of report writing to a variety of stakeholders.

You’ll have a curious, proactive mindset with a passion for turning data into insight.

A bit about us

Our passion is rowing. We are the governing body for rowing, responsible for supporting grassroots rowing in England and getting the GB Rowing Team ready for the Olympics, Paralympics and other international competitions.

We are a membership organisation with over 30,000 individual members and we support over 530 affiliated clubs and 220 affiliated events. We cover all types of rowing whether it’s on the river, in the gym (on a rowing machine) or even on the sea. Projects may cover all aspects of the rowing landscape.

The GB Rowing Team has been hugely successful, winning gold medals at every Olympics since 1984 and every Paralympics since rowing was introduced in 2008. We have an inspiring group of elite athletes who are all engaged and keen to get involved in promoting their sport.

What we offer

You’ll be based in our head office on the river in Hammersmith, London however we have agile working policy so working from home a number of days per week is possible. You will be employed on a full-time basis. You’ll also get some great perks as part of the team at British Rowing:
