Board Trustee and Audit and Probity Committee Member
We are looking for a dynamic Board Trustee and member of CIMSPA’s Audit and Probity Committee, from within or external to the sector, to support us in our work.
You must have a passion for working for the benefit of the public and be inspired to support CIMSPA’s vision of being a recognised and respected sport and physical activity sector that everyone wants to be part of. We are looking for a trustee and committee member to join our dynamic team and share in the experiences of being part of CIMSPA’s people. Our board and committees provide us with invaluable insight, guidance and direction and we are looking forward to welcoming a new member into this. Role purpose: We are looking for a board trustee and member of CIMSPA’s Audit and Probity committee with the willingness to support the chair of the sub-committee where required to support succession planning. The Audit and Probity committee is comprised of experts in their field who challenge our way of thinking and operating to drive best practice in our work to become an exemplar organisation. We are looking for a trustee and committee member who can provide a clear visionary and strategic overview of the risk landscape of CIMSPA, whilst also providing advice and counsel relating to the adequacy of CIMSPA’s financial reporting and internal controls. We also ask that all CIMSPA’s people, including our board trustees meet and exemplify the CIMSPA behaviours which support us in being a high-performing and successful team.
The board of trustees and Audit and Probity committee view impacts and risks of new emerging opportunities and challenges, ensuring that CIMSPA is carrying out its purposes for the public and membership’s benefit.
Location: CIMSPA offices, Sport Park, Loughborough. London (central meeting venues). Remote working using Microsoft Teams or other virtual meeting software.
