Job Summary

The LTA

The LTA is the National Governing Body for tennis in Great Britain, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, and is responsible for developing and promoting the sport while safeguarding the integrity of tennis. The LTA’s vision is “Tennis Opened Up” and its mission is to make tennis Relevant, Accessible, Welcoming and Enjoyable.

The Role

The role of the Finance Department is to ensure the business prioritises its spending on the best projects and programmes to the benefit of our customers, whether that be elite players or kids playing their first game of mini-tennis. Your role will be to provide insight to ensure robust business planning and that finance is put at the heart of decision making.

About You

You will be ACA, CIMA or similarly qualified with strong commercial awareness gained at a fast paced organisation. Influential skills will be key, managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders across a number of different levels. You will be pro-active and able to think creatively to see projects through to implementation and completion.

The Team

This position is part of the Commercial Finance team and so focussed on the P&L. As such the team builds strong relationships across the business, including those with the Performance, Participation and Events teams, and works to understand their activity in order to help them deliver objectives and those of the wider LTA as effectively as possible.

Our People

We thought you might like to hear from one Finance colleague about what appeals to them at the LTA;

 “It’s a really rewarding organisation to work for … valuing a positive atmosphere, a highly varied set of activities while working in a sporting environment. The combination of these factors makes for a very gratifying experience as an employee.”

Our Location

You will be based at the vibrant National Tennis Centre in leafy Roehampton.  If the sound of a game of Tennis or a lunch time run (or stroll) in Richmond Park appeals then this could be all you need to energise and refocus to enable you to give your best to the team.

Our Culture

We offer a competitive benefits package and a positive culture underpinned by our values (Passion, Teamwork, Excellence, and Integrity). We are passionate about our people and take individual needs seriously whether it is a request for flexible working or support with how best to make the most of working at the LTA.

We welcome applications from all backgrounds as we believe a diverse workforce is fundamental to achieving great things – our people make the difference.
