Salary: £22,664 per annum
Location: Office and field based (weekly commitments within Buckinghamshire and Slough, very occasional requirements to work around the UK and Europe). Note travel expenses paid to all field based commitments. Office touch down at Netball South, Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre, Bisham Village, Marlow Road, Bisham, Marlow, SL7 1RR.
Type of Contract: *Full time (35 hours per week), Fixed term to 31st March 2021 (extension subject to funding)
Job Description
These are exciting times for England Netball as we are currently ranked No.2 in the World. With a growing membership and regular television coverage we are seeking to appoint a Netball Development Community Coach (maternity cover) who is a high achiever and has the will to succeed in helping us take the next step to being a world leading Governing Body of Sport.
Reporting to the Partnership Manager, the Netball Development Community Coach is responsible for developing, marketing and coaching the Back to Netball, Walking Netball and Netball Now programmes. They are also responsible for developing local netball infrastructures to ensure sustained participation in the sport.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to be part of this high performing team. Experience and an understanding of coaching in the returner domain are essential and a Netball UKCC Level 2 qualification is desirable. You must be a great communicator and able to adapt your coaching style to meet the needs of different participant groups.
