Salary: £52,000 - £60,000

Location: British Paralympic Association (“BPA”) central London headquarters and mobile based – exact split to be determined by mutual agreement with post-holder. 

Job Description

If so, you could be part of a world leading National Paralympic Committee that works tirelessly with National Governing Bodies and its high-performance system partners to deliver the ‘best prepared’ ParalympicsGB team at each summer and winter Games.

Demonstrating the BPA’s core values at all times, the post holder will assume significant responsibility in leading, managing and delivery of the BPA’s preparation strategy and ParalympicsGB’s Games-time performance services. Working directly to BPA Director of Sport and Chef de Mission, Penny Briscoe, the post holder will:

  1. Demonstrate exemplary leadership in all aspects of the BPA’s Performance and Preparation strategies and associated programmes, people and partnerships
  2. Ensure excellence in the design and delivery of the BPA’s sports science and sports medicine strategy including recruitment, development and leadership of the sports science and sports medicine core team
  3. Provide world class advice and support to all Paralympic sports; contributing positively to a best prepared team at each Paralympic Games
  4. Provide other input and support as a member of the ParalympicsGB core team in the creation and delivery of an optimal Games-time environment
