The Association of British Riding Schools, a registered charity at the heart of Riding and Equestrianism, currently seeks two Trustees to join its Board who in addition to an interest in the ABRS’s aims and objectives have experience, skills, and expertise in any of the following areas:

* Fundraising and business development * Marketing and PR * Communications * Technology

Like many charities, the ABRS, relies on its trustees for leadership and support in its many areas of operation. Attracting potential trustees with the enthusiasm, motivation, interest and commitment to take on operational responsibilities is critical to the charity's sustainability and future growth.

In tandem with acting as a professional association for equestrian proprietors, our role is to raise standards of instruction and promote the welfare of horses and ponies.

Founded in 1954, the need for the ABRS grows day by day as rules, regulations and legislation become ever more complex, customers more discerning and demanding, and the equestrian recreational market more diverse.

Applicants should have senior professional skills in the areas outlined and an interest in the world of horses and/or equestrian sports. Whilst Board experience is not necessary, a track record of delivering results and contributing as a team player will be welcomed.
