The Daily Mile Coordinator (Northern)
Salary: £32,232
Location: GreaterSport, National Squash Centre and Regional Arena, Rowsley Street, Manchester, M11 3FF
Contract: Fixed until end of March 2020
On behalf of Sport England and The Daily Mile Foundation, GreaterSport is seeking to recruit a Daily Mile Coordinator for the north of England.
The role will oversee four Daily Mile Local Coordinators (Greater Manchester, Tyne and Wear, Merseyside and Yorkshire) in promoting and supporting the strong growth of The Daily Mile in primary schools.
There is strong evidence that The Daily Mile can greatly improve mental, emotional, social and physical well-being, as well as supporting more young people achieve the recommended amount of physical activity per day. We are looking for a passionate and committed individual who can work in partnership with a range of stakeholders to land The Daily Mile in schools.
