Regional Business Support X2

Location: This role is based in either our Birmingham or Loughborough regional office

Job Summary

The Role

We are looking for two people to join our team on a fixed term basis until the end of December 2018. You will be responsible for the administration of tennis in the region, supporting venues & partners as well as our regional team. It is a challenging and exciting position and one that will play a fundamental role in developing and implementing our regional plan and ensuring we stay on track in delivering our objectives to get more people playing tennis more often.

About You

You will be a passionate about sport, with a track record of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have strong organisational skills to ensure you prioritise and manage a varied workload effectively. You will have a can do attitude and be confident to provide the right support at the right time using your own judgement.

The Team

The Midlands regional team will play a vital role in driving the LTA mission of more people playing tennis, more often. Supporting a population of around 10 million people, of which under 1 million currently play the sport. The role of the team will be to create and deliver a long term vision for the region, in line with the LTA strategy, that will maximise the opportunity to drive participation in tennis across a real heartland for the sport.

Our Location

You will be based at either one of the two Regional Offices in Birmingham or Loughborough.

Our office in Birmingham is based at the Edgbaston Priory Club on the edge of the city centre. Set in a fantastic location, you will join a bubbly team in our dedicated office space.

The Loughborough office is based at the Dan Maskell Tennis Centre, a state of the art Tennis Centre in a superb location with parking on site and home to one of the National Academies for tennis due to open in September 2019.
