Location: Mobile role based in the South West Region

Job Summary

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the National Performance Pathway team. You will be responsible for a portfolio of work within the county and local player stage of the British Tennis Player Pathway in order to identify and develop a pool of players to the standard required for LTA Regional Training. This role involves managing one or more County Pathway Coordinators, as well as driving the player development through the provision of excellent support to coaches and key staff across county programmes and Local Player Development Centres (LPDCs).

About you

You’ll have a proven track record of motivating and leading teams to effectively attract and identify high potential junior players. You will be able to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders and have an in-depth understanding of the Tennis Landscape in Britain. You have a deep understanding of talent attraction, identification and development of junior tennis players, as well as the standards required to be selected for Regional Training. You understand the components required for excellent training and can evaluate and support the improvement of the training environments.
