Active Families Project Manager
Salary: £26,916 – £31,666 pro rata (pay scales review pending)
Location: East of England
Public Health working in partnership with Living Sport and three Local Authorities have secured a £300K National Lottery grant from Sport England Families Fund for a project engaging families from targeted wards to become active as a families.
We are seeking to recruit an ‘Active Families’ Project Manager who will be employed through Living Sport to manage this 3 year project. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team for an exciting new project.
The project will deliver fun, family suitable activities in local community settings to engage inactive families from lower socio-economic groups including roadshows, digital treasure hunts and small group activity. In two areas (Peterborough and Fenland) we will deliver activities in or near to settings regularly frequented by our target families, including community centres, schools or nearby green spaces and delivery will be through one Activator in Peterborough and one in Fenland. In Cambridge existing activities delivered by the Sports Development team in target LSOAs will be enhanced by the digital treasure hunts.
