Director of Operations

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 (dependent on experience)

Location: London

Following two of its most successful Paralympic Games ever at Rio 2016 and PyeongChang 2018, there has never been a better time to work for the British Paralympic Association.

As we plan now for Tokyo 2020 and beyond, the BPA is looking to recruit a world class Director to lead its operations team, ensuring world class logistics and event management delivery for all ParalympicsGB activity at Summer and Winter Games, and all other activities undertaken by the BPA, including management of the Operations programme planning and budget.

The Director is a senior level position reporting to the CEO, and a member of the BPA Executive Team. The successful candidate will therefore be engaged in the overall business and running of the organisation, supporting Board and other senior level engagement.

There is a significant focus in the role on Games time, and the Director is anticipated to undertake a specific, identified senior management role within the ParalympicsGB structure and set up.

If you are a proven leader with significant experience and knowledge of the multi-sport Games environment, expertise in operational logistics, project planning, budgeting, and people management, and a passion for ensuring world class delivery this is an outstanding and unique opportunity.
