Job Summary

About the Role

An opportunity has arisen within our Major Events and Competitions team as a Competition Assistant.

We are looking for someone with proven administration experience in a customer facing environment to take responsibility for the administration and delivery of all competition support, providing third tier support to players, parents, organisers and officials.

The role focuses on providing support to the Competition Pathway Manager, Competition Officer and the wider Competition Support Team in the following key areas:

  • Servicing of British Tennis Ratings and Rankings systems including management of the ratings appeals process
  • Supporting league organisers in setting up and delivery of their leagues
  • Management of the licensing process as well as supporting organisers and officials delivering their competitions using Tennis Tournament Planner and League Planner software packages.
  • Supporting the on boarding process for new members of the British Tennis Services Team and enhancement of the knowledge of existing members.

About You

The ideal candidate would have previous experience using Competition Management Software, a good understanding of ratings and rankings and have some experience in organising competitions either as a competition organiser or referee.

Our Location

Based in leafy Roehampton, you will be based at the vibrant National Tennis Centre.  If the sound of a game of Tennis or a Lunch time run (or stroll) in Richmond Park appeals then this could be all you need to energise and refocus to enable you to give your best.

The Perks

We offer a competitive benefits package and a positive environment underpinned by our values. We are passionate about our people and take individual needs seriously whether it is a request for flexible working or support with how best to take your career forward.

We welcome applications from all as we believe a diverse workplace is fundamental to achieving great things – our people make the difference.

Please ensure that you submit both a CV and covering letter when applying.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 18 March 2018.

1st stage interviews for this position are currently scheduled to take place on Monday 26 March 2018.
