Finance, Risk & Corporate Services Board – Volunteer Role

Salary: The role is a voluntary one but travel expenses will be paid

Location:Meetings are held at the National Badminton Centre, Milton Keynes

The future of English badminton is very bright. We remain as committed as ever to enable more people to take part in badminton and to see more people winning medals at the very highest level.

· Do you have a passion for increasing participation in Sport?

· Would you like to have an opportunity to shape the future of those who work in Sport?

· Would you like to have an input into the accountability of the financial affairs of badminton?

· Do you have experience of IT governance within a business?

· Are you an Accountant with experience of Corporate Compliance willing to support our workforce?

If the answer to all of the questions is yes, why not join Badminton England's Finance, Risk & Corporate Services Board, to support and guide us in shaping our business.

We are looking to appoint a new member to this group to add new skills, experiences and individual perspectives to the team. Of particular interest (though not essential) are expertise in long term financial planning and/or commercial experience of generating new revenues (we are a membership organisation). 

A minimum two year commitment from successful applicants is sought (attending approximately five meetings per year).

This is an opportunity to provide effective challenge and contributions to Badminton England's future through the National Governing Body level and we are keen to hear from you.
