Trustee and Board Member
Location: Unit 2, Bilton Grange Health Annex, HU9 4AL
Active Humber are seeking to recruit new Trustee and Board Members. They will be individuals who have gained public respect and credibility, can demonstrate vision and leadership, and have a track record of building relationships, effective networking and making things happen in sport and physical activity.
These roles require knowledge and understanding of the strategic issues influencing the development of sport and physical activity in one or more of the following: local government, voluntary sport, professional sport, community, health and private sectors. At this time, we are looking for potential trustees with skills in the areas of:
· Finance & Accounting
· Voluntary & Community sector
· Marketing & Campaigning
These are voluntary positions and for an initial three-year period from the date of appointment. We would anticipate a commitment of 4 to 6 days approximately per calendar year. Appropriate travel expenses will be paid.
