Talent Development Officer
Salary: £21,000 - £25,000 per annum
Location: Bisham Abbey NSC, Marlow, Bucks
England Hockey is recruiting for a Talent Development Officer to join their innovative Player Pathway team.
We are looking for individuals with excellent organisational, communication and time management skills to support the Player Pathway Manager on a number of exciting projects.
If you have project management and event management experience, are confident working with CRM systems, have a keen eye for detail and some creative flair we would love to hear from you.
Role Summary
The Talent Development Officer will be responsible for implementing systems and programmes in the England Hockey Player Pathway. Working with a wide variety of stakeholders the role will require an excellent communicator who can quickly establish credibility and strong relationships.
The Talent Development Officer will be required to work closely with the Player Pathway Manager to develop new projects, programmes and systems to support the development of the Player Pathway.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Work closely with, and support, the Player Pathway Manager in the delivery of the project plan for the Player Pathway
• Contribute to the creation of a communications portfolio as specified in the Player Pathway Communications plan
• Manage the successful delivery of Futures Cup on an annual basis.
• Contribute to the creation of a Performance Centre education programme
• Support the enhancement and development of Performance Centre and Academy Centre delivery
• Support coaches within the player pathway to deliver effectively
• Attend events and meetings as required
• General administration tasks and projects as appropriate
