Snowsport England is seeking to appoint new Non-Executive Board Directors who are required to make significant contributions in maximising the opportunities for growth while delivering senior level expertise on strategy, business acumen and commercialisation.

The board are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has specialist knowledge and practical experience in any of the following areas:

• Performance Sport and Talent Development

• Served on other National Governing Bodies

• Commercial/Sponsorship and Marketing.

About Snowsport England

Snowsport England is the national governing body for snow sports in England and is responsible for the organisation and promotion of our sport by fostering and promoting the interests of English skiers, associated disciplines and all aspects of their sport in England and overseas. The organisation works collaboratively to build a thriving and vibrant snow sport community and providing a talent pipeline to British Ski and Snowboard.

About the Board

The Board governs the organisation and has overall responsibility for the performance and direction of Snowsport England. 

The appointment is for a three-year term. Directors will be required to attend up to six Board meetings per annum as well as the Annual General Meeting together with supporting the business in the related areas to their skill sets.

The Chair and Non-Executive Board Directors will be involved in shaping the strategic aims of the organisation, providing creative, informed and constructive input to the CEO and Operations Team.

Snowsport England is looking to appoint to the Board individuals with diverse, varied and complementary skillsets, who will match their business and commercial experience with a strong passion and commitment to the sport.

The roles are non-remunerated with reasonable out-of-pocket expenses reimbursed.
