Marketing Director (NED)
The BGA and EEA is seeking a non executive Marketing Director to join its Board of Directors. Candidates should be able to demonstrate previous board experience within either the commercial, sports or voluntary sector, and have marketing expertise and strategic experience. An understanding of the equestrian world is mandatory, and an interest in the employment of the equestrian workforce, their career promotion, and how to support employers would be desirable. The position is voluntary, with travel expenses, and offers the opportunity for close involvement in an exciting phase in the development of two of the most vibrant and important organisations in the equestrian industry.
Skills and attributes required
• Excellent people skills: able to work as part of a successful non - executive team
• A highly effective communicator and able to relate to BGA’s & EEA’s vision and mission and core values
• Awareness and understanding of the equestrian market in which we operate
• Can afford the time to commit to the role
• Marketing experience
• Membership organisations
• Social Enterprise/charity or not profit back ground
