Retention
Employers aim to retain employees for a number of reasons with the most obvious being to decrease the employee turnover and the associated costs that result from this.
Decreasing staff turnover will directly influence costs incurred from training, temporary staff and the loss of production in the time where a position is being advertised.
It will, however, also be implemented to secure the knowledge staff build up in their day-to-day work stays within the organisation.
