On 25 March 2013, the inaugural 'Sport and the Law' Conference was held at De Montfort University. 

De Montfort University run an LLM in Sports Law and Practice - you can download more information on this programme here.

This conference was jointly coordinated by the Sport and Recreation Alliance, Sport England, UK Sport and Sport Wales.

It was a one day practical conference where individuals working in sport and recreation organisations were provided with advice on how to grapple with the challenges that the law presents.
