Sport Minds

On 6 October, over 130 people from across the sport and recreation sector came together at Wembley for Sport Minds.

The day built on the success of the Mental Health Charter for Sport and Recreation – which now has over 200 signatories. We celebrated success, shared good practice and were inspired by people who spoke about their own personal experiences of mental health.

There was a broad range of contributors - including academics, elite athletes and colleagues who are delivering at the grassroots – but the message from all was the same; we need to do more to tackle the stigma around mental health in sport and recreation.
