Division of Interested Organisations

Printer-friendly version

This is the most diverse of the Sport and Recreation Alliance's divisions. Its work is primarily concerned with young people and the opportunities available for them to participate - not just in physical education and sport in schools, but also in their local communities. Their aim is to provide opportunities for healthy lifestyles and positive attitudes to life.

This all-encompassing division works on issues that affect voluntary organisations and uniformed youth groups like the Guides and Scouts. Such matters include child protection procedures, summer camps and volunteers.
