  • The National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) is producing guidance which aims to support effective, sustainable and community wide action to prevent obesity.
  • The guidance has a strong focus on local partnership working and makes recommendations for local policy makers, commissioners, managers, practitioners and other professionals working within local authorities, the NHS and the wider public, private, voluntary and community sectors.

  • Organisations with an interest in working with partners at a local level to prevent ill health through promoting sport and recreation.
  • Please note that respondents are required to register as stakeholders with NICE.
