AMRC Obesity Steering Group

  • The Academy of Medical Royal Colleges has established an Obesity Steering Group to determine the most effective and coherent strategy for tackling obesity.
  • The work will be framed in terms of looking for recommendations for action that can be taken by: individuals; the environment; clinical interventions; fiscal measures and education.
  • The evidence-gathering exercise will feed into an obesity strategy which will be presented to the Government.

The Group is seeking written submissions of no more than 2,500 words, to be emailed to obesity@aomrc.org.uk.
