Key issues:
The Scottish Parliament's health and sport committee has launched an inquiry on the topic of community sport.
The inquiry will address three key themes:
- The contribution of people, and in particular volunteers, to sport at a local level.
- The benefit of local sport clubs to the health agenda and their communities more widely.
- The importance of the availability, affordability and quality of facilities.
Relevant for:
Governing bodies and other sport organisations with a remit for Scotland.
