Do you have a passion for cycling and want to work in one of the most exciting and fastest growing sports in the UK? Scottish Cycling is looking to appoint a dynamic individual to lead the development of cycle sport across the Scottish Cycling regions in Scotland and specifically in the Scottish Cycling West region, within the City of Glasgow.

The Scottish Cycling Development Manager is a new role that will report to the Head of Development and be responsible for the leadership and management of the Scottish Cycling Regional Development Officers. The focus will be to develop successful communities of cycle sport in the Scottish Cycling Regions and to prioritise the development of Clubs, Competition Pathways and Education & Training. To do this effectively the Development Manager will be tasked with ensuring effective strategic partnerships and integrated planning at national, regional and local levels. They will also work specifically with the Regional Development Officer (West and South West) to provide support to Scottish Cycling affiliated clubs within the two regions but the manager will work specifically with the clubs within the City of Glasgow.

Applicants should have considerable knowledge and experience of sports development, with a particular focus on club development. They must have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and be enthusiastic, self motivated and confident in being able to drive forward the implementation of the Scottish Cycling regional development plans.

This is a full-time post with flexible working hours, working 37.5 hours per week.
