Tournament Entries & Administration Assistant
The PGA wishes to appoint a Tournament Entries & Administration Assistant to assist in all areas of tournament administration within the PGA National Tournament Department.
Based at the offices of the PGA National Tournament Department, Coleshill, Birmingham and reporting to the Head of Tournaments you will assist with pre and post tournament administration for all PGA National and PGA Europro Tour events including, but not limited to, tournament entries, tournament withdrawals, disciplinary, tournament regulations, entry forms, processing prize funds, telephone queries, collating tournament statistics and providing technical assistance on our online tournament management system, BlueGolf, to the Membership and staff within PGA Counties and Regions.
To fulfil the requirements of this role you must be able to demonstrate that you:
have a good knowledge of the game of golfhave excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience in database management;have strong communication and customer care skills;are self-confident, highly motivated and a good team worker;have the ability to plan and prioritise workload;have a good attention to detail.A knowledge of the internal structure of professional tours is desirable.
This is a permanent, full-time office role working around the core hours of the business which are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
