Working in partnership with UK Sport and Sport England, the Sport and Recreation Alliance is organising a series of interactive seminars aimed at supporting good governance in NGBs. Focusing on two areas which traditionally challenge national governing bodies, the seminars will provide expert input and best practice examples.

A Board needs to understand the role it plays and how it can best contribute to the organisation. This seminar will take you through practical steps to help you understand what an effective Board looks like. It will help you think about how your Board measures up and consider any changes you may want to make to improve the effectiveness of your Board. The seminar is aimed at Board members, Chairs and Chief Executives from sporting organisations that are seeking to achieve and maintain good governance through a high performing Board.
