We now have an exciting new opportunity for an appropriately experienced individual who will deliver a range of people centric solutions and a high quality operational HR service fostering a transparent and compliant approach to employee relations and engagement. 

The role of the HR Business Partner is to:

· Establish and develop a dialogue and relationship with people managers to understand the key resource issues and associated requirements to meet both current and future organisational challenges.

· Manage the recruitment process for designated roles, supporting managers from interview through selection, offer stage and the onboarding process.

· Provide support to managers and employees, offering expert guidance on a range of HR activities to drive performance management and performance improvement and ensure consistency of approach and the correct application of policies and procedures.

· Advise & coach line managers in the effective resolution of ER issues especially in relation to preparation and management of disciplinary, grievance and capability related cases, taking into account and working within clearly defined policies and procedures, UK employment law, precedent and potential impact / risk to the business. Escalate and make recommendations to the Head of HR where actions are unclear and there is a potential risk to the business.

· Facilitate the delivery of our compensation and benefits programme whilst considering internal equity.

· Support the Head of HR to implement a programme of Employee Engagement activities, to enhance people performance and create a ‘Great Place to Work’ where employees are valued, fulfilled by their work and make a greater contribution towards successful delivery of the British Cycling Strategy.

What you need is: 

We are keen to hear from individuals who have reliable level of experience as an HR Professional in a commercially driven organisation and a reasonable level of further education ideally in a business related subject together with being a Chartered member of the CIPD.

You should be able to demonstrate proven success in driving HR topics including, employee relations, recruitment and reward. You should have an operational mind-set with the ability to partner with key stakeholders in the business.

With an eye for detail and the ability to follow through and complete tasks under pressure, your time management and relationship skills will be essential within a busy, diverse, target driven working environment where IT Literacy (a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is paramount.
