We are the national governing body for amateur golf.  We work at the heart of golf in England, supporting and empowering a thriving community of players, counties and clubs to get the most out of the game we love.  We value being honest, inclusive, responsible, excellent and supportive.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our busy Marketing & Communications team.  The new role of the Digital Communications Executive will lead on all digital communications and social media, bringing specialist knowledge and skills to the application and integration of digital channels.  You will work with the Marketing & Communications Director to develop and implement a digital communications strategy and be responsible for maintaining all digital channels.  You need to work with appropriate external digital, advertising and creative agencies to deliver the strategy and have substantial practical experience of developing digital, conversion focused content.  Being highly organised you will need to plan, forecast and analyse campaigns and market activity to tight timescales.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

· A knowledge of the full marketing mix including PR, social networking and offline/online communications

· Proven application of market analysis to drive a digital communications strategy

· Good creative and copywriting skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy

· Experience of managing multiple social media platforms as a promotional tool

· Prior experience of using Google analytics and implementing improvements to digital presence

The successful applicant needs to be self-motivated with a ‘can do’, results driven approach, excellent attention to detail, and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and colleagues.  A knowledge of the game of golf is not essential.
