Are you looking to develop a career in volunteer development and management? England Athletics have an exciting opportunity opening for one Volunteer Development Internship.

This role is an opportunity for someone to join England Athletics on an exciting adventure to improve the experience of volunteers in Athletics and Running.

About The Project

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be involved in athletics and running, enabling them to reach their full potential. Over 3 years England Athletics are working with Spirit of 2012 to invest nearly £1,000,000 in volunteer development, recruitment and support to positively impact on the experience and wellbeing of volunteers in athletics and running in England. The programme includes a series of campaigns, conferences, training events and support packages for Athletics clubs and providers across England.

About The Role

As the Volunteer Development Intern you will assist the Volunteering Team in a number of areas essential to building an effective and engaged volunteering community. With a focus on communications, event co-ordination and project administration, this role will be a core member of the Volunteer Management team learning from professionals across the organisation with a wide range of skills. The role holder will also be given specific areas of responsibility to own and lead on after a period of time to develop their skills and grow their base knowledge.
