Walking for Health Training and quality assurance officer
Based at: Birmingham, home based working remotely
Contract: Full time – fixed term contract until 31 March 2018
Salary: £30,729 to £32,000pa (depending on experience)

The Ramblers is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced individual to provide training and quality assurance support for Walking for Health schemes.

Essential Requirements include:
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Experience of delivering successful workshops and/or facilitating training
• Experience of supporting volunteers
• Experience of event planning
• Knowledge of public health/physical activity policy
• Ability to contribute to reporting
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• A good understanding of volunteer motivations
• Experience of working remotely as part of a team, self managing workloads
• Ability to travel across England, spending nights away from home
