Salary: Circa £25,000 - £30,000 pa plus pension and other benefits

Responsible to: Regional Manager

Role Summary

· Implementation of national strategy at a local level

· Lead partner engagement locally to drive development of badminton

· Promote and increase membership and maximise data collection

Job Description

Implementation of national strategy at a local level

· Ensure key objectives are delivered at a local level in line with agreed regional plan;

· Monitor and evaluate regional programmes and partnerships, ensuring that resources are maximised and taking corrective action when required to ensure maximum impact.

Lead partner engagement locally to drive development of badminton

· Lead relationship with designated County Badminton Associations, supporting, informing, consulting and involving them as appropriate;

· Identify opportunities and prioritise key partners at a strategic level that will enable the greatest impact on delivery of Badminton England objectives;

· Ensure that relationships are managed appropriately with all relevant partners to maximise their support for regional delivery.

Promote and increase membership and maximise data collection

· Promote membership of Badminton England and identify opportunities to increase levels of membership;

· Ensure data collection is integrated into normal working practice.

National lead for a policy area within the National Game Team

· Lead development and implementation of policy;

· Initial point of contact within National Game Team for policy area;

· Maintain up to date knowledge about policy area and disseminate as appropriate.

Other Duties

· To comply with the requirements of BADMINTON England’s staff handbook;

· To undertake such other duties as may be appropriate to achieve the objectives of the post (or as may be allocated by the National Game Director).
